Essential responsibilities:
 
1.       P&L Responsibility: Responsible for P&L and profitability of multiple medical devices manufacturing plants. Work close with COO to make sure Key Performance Matrix is developed and performed.
2.       Management Leadership: Provide management leadership to the plants. Define clear, realistic goals and optimize production processes to bring lean manufacturing to achieve high productivity.
3.       Meet Customers’ Needs: Ensure that the plants produce quality products that meet the customer’s specifications and delivery dates. Monthly review quality performance with management.
4.       Training and development to the plant employees: Through supervision, coaching  and counseling of employees to secure a happy work environment.
5.       Project Resources Allocations: Focus, and support the key projects, allocate plant resources to projects adequately. Proactively raise personnel issues, such as performance, directly with functional management.
6.       Cost Optimizations: Coordinate the planning and organization of the production workloads; ensure the assignment of personnel and machines at the lowest feasible cost keeping overtime at a minimum. Optimize the purchasing of raw material based on lead time.
7.       Continuous Improvements on Operations Efficiency: Search for better operational efficiencies and propose capital investment. Be part of the budget development during the financial planning cycles.
8.       Support new projects given by each strategic business unit: with professional program management.
9.       Represent the plants at customer visits and secure confidentiality on customer projects.
10.    Daily Operations: Organize and facilitate effective operational meetings with all plants.  Identify and delegate action items and follow-up/track action items to resolution.
11.    Coordinate all plant Regulatory, Safety and Quality Audits: Coordinate/audit product documentation to ensure compliance and quality of product is maintained. Ensure the Company is compliance with FDA, ISO, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA), and MSDS rules and regulations.
12.    Safety and Prevention: Evaluate company equipment and evaluate for safety and maintenance problems.  Ensure preventive maintenance procedures are in place and that operation is sustainable and propose measures to secure such.
13.    IP Security: Ensure Customer and company’s own Intellectual Property is maintained and that the plants have sufficient security.
14.    Performing other duties: as required or deemed necessary by the Corporate.
 
Requirement:
1.      Science, mechanical or chemical engineering bachelor degree (MUST) or relative majority in economics, business management, MBA is preferred.
2.      10 years above experience in manufacturing operation (MUST), plastic industries preferred.
3.      Familiar with ISO9001/ISO13485/ISO14001, FDA, EPA, OSHA.
4.      Proficiency in English/Chinese communication.(MUST)
5.       Broad technical knowledge in moulding, injection machinery. (MUST) knowledge of disposable medical products in hospital uses is preferred.
6.       Good computer skill (MUST), familiar in ERP system is preferred.
